XMS Industrial has developed a new tooth profile for applications under severe conditions where longer gear life is essential. Our new design provides greater beam strength, smoother operation and reduced noise.

Features:

  • Up to two times the life in bending strength
  • Applications in hoist gearing on draglines have extended bull-gear life by a factor of two vs. original OEM gearing.

Swing Circle Assemblies [ Click to view ]
XMS Industrial engineers have designed forged fabricated swing racks for draglines and new one and two-piece forged split racks for shovels. Rack gears are designed using high-strength alloy steel with heat treated properties that extend the life of the rack. A replaceable third rail has been added to shovel swing racks along with flangless rollers that will replace flanged rollers on older designs.

  • Once piece,forged, 360 degree construction or two-piece split rack for easy installation (for shovels)
  • Forged alloy gear rim with increased tensile strength is stronger than cast materials

2570W Walking Shoe Upgrade [ Click to view ]
XMS Industrial have designed an alternative to the 2570W walking shoe that allows your field crew to upgrade the 2570W propel system, dramatically increasing the life of the shoe with a substantial reduction in downtime.

8750W Walking Arm Upgrade [ Click to view ]
XMS Industrial engineers have reviewed the 8750W walking arms, and cracking problems, extensively utilizing finite element analysis. Our inspection has resulted in the creation of a new modification available only from XMS Industrial. This new design includes heavy plating to create a box section for approximately 50% of the arm. This innovation gives the walking arm additional strength, and increases its useful life in the field. While under modification and repair, new brass bushings and thrust surfaces are installed, allowing the walking arm to be used on either the left or right side of the machine.

P&H Shovel Idler Roller Upgrade [ Click to view ]
XMS Industrial has designed and manufactured a new idler assembly that adds twice the bearing area of the OEM design. Our unique design, including moving the bearings outboard, reduces contact stress.
